Attestation of Pension Receipt / Life Certificate

Any Sri Lankan Pensioners living in Switzerland, who wish to obtain life certificate or attestation for pension receipt, should present themselves at the Consulate General.

Required Documents

- Dully completed Pension Receipt / Life Certificate

(NB: The original documents of the following should be submitted with photo copies) :

- Valid Sri Lankan Passport and Swiss Visa or Swiss passport and Swiss ID in case of a Swiss national (Sri Lankan origin) or Pension ID card issued by the Department of pension in case of a refugee (Sri Lankan origin)

- Pensioner’s Identity Card issued by the Director General / Department of Pensions

The original life certificates will be sent to the Department of Pension by the Consulate General of Geneva through Diplomatic Bag.

No consular fee for this service.
